Earl:
Just a quick note to let you know that we had a wonderful time at
Fundy National Park this weekend with our new Starcraft 1019 trailer!
Everything runs great (fans, vents, lights, fridge, stove, BBQue,
heater, water and power systems, stereo) and it is really comfortable
- the heated beds took off the chill on Saturday and Sunday night.
The unit sets up and takes down quite nicely, and it hauls really well
with our Outback. The electric brakes make a big difference.
I do need to go to trailer "back-up school", but I had some
experienced trailer folks help me out, while entertaining them all to
no end (they referred to it as Neil's "back-up anxiety")... I am sure
it gets better with a bit of experience. Hopefully no more "eau de
burnt clutch" when maneuvering backwards! It all makes that cold
Moosehead out of the cooler taste all that much better after the trailer is parked and set up!
By the way, we were with some good friends with a vintage but still
functioning 20 year old Starcraft trailer - we could have done an ad
for the company.
Thank you and the entire team at Leisure Time again for getting us on
the road "just in time" - and as Bridget said this weekend; "Daddy, I
had no idea camping was so much fun!"
We look forward to our next adventure, including 5 days at PEI
National Park for Canada Day.
Just let us know when the potti unit comes in, and we can stop by and
pick it up.
Best wishes,
The Jacobsen Family (Neil, Christine and Bridget).
